Headland Walkabout

HEADLAND WALKABOUT 

Early mornings or late evenings are my favourite time to walkabout. The light is most extreme and it’s cooler. I have a fixation with the way rays of light fall on the soil and working out how to represent ground markings to show rain and movement of the earth. My ‘guardians’ in their ‘Waka’ balance themselves nicely on their journey. My headland sits like a platform as I play with my bird’s eye view.
